The sound of tapping on a desk, the clinking of cups, or your voice. Anything can be placed on a pad, and pressing it will play that sound. REC PAD is a 16-pad sampler that transforms sounds around you into instruments.

■ Your Sound on the Pad

Record directly with the microphone or upload an audio file, and that pad will be replaced by your sound. You can also raise or lower the pitch to use the same sound as a different note.

■ 21 Basic Sounds

From drums like kick, snare, hi-hat, and clap to guitar, muted guitar, bass guitar, pizzicato, synth bass, lead, and bell. Since all sounds are synthesized in real-time, there is no separate download required, and for instruments with specific pitches, the note names are displayed exactly as they are.

■ 4-Track Loop Station

Press REC and hit the pads, and they will stack up. Layer tracks to add drums, bass, and melodies. You can also place notes directly on the grid using the step editor. - Tempo 60–180 BPM, 1–4 measure loop
