♟️ PLAY AGAINST THE COMPUTER (offline)
3 AI difficulty levels: Easy – Medium – Hard, using minimax + alpha-beta pruning algorithms to assess the game. Includes move suggestions, undo, draw, and surrender options. After the computer makes a move, an animation highlights the move for easy tracking.

📶 PLAY OVER LAN (no internet required)
Two phones on the same Wi-Fi/hotspot can play — the host creates the room and receives a 4-digit code, the other player enters the code or automatically finds the room on the network and joins. Includes in-game chat. No server or login required.

👥 2 PLAYERS PER COMPUTER
Sit opposite each other on the same device; the board automatically flips in turns.

🎴 HIDDEN CHESS (An Engaging Variation)
All pieces (except the two Generals) are face down and shuffled. Only the piece that is moved will be revealed – a blend of luck and strategy, each game a different chess position.
