2025-01-20	ad*****	Just look at the statistics in the game; opening rolls won: expected 50%, computer wins 58%. Doubles stats ALL way higher than expected. If you can be hit by the computer, it WILL roll the perfect numbers to do so. If you're hammering the computer and bearing off you WILL get rolls that leave you blots which the computer WILL hit straight from the bar, which you won't be able to leave while it throws massive rolls and miraculously wins, against all odds. Really, really lame.

2024-12-10	Ro*****	XG gammon was the definitive choice for BG apps. But no longer works in Android, this app is an alternative. XG has better interface, and better all round. BGNJ gets the rolls it wants way too much, especially when behind. 2- 3 perfect rolls in a row to decimate you. Just jumps out from your prime with ease when it wants to. makes perfect hit & cover shots if you leave a blot- consistently Edit: can't believe it doesn't cheat. Rolls perfectly at times. Frustrating

2024-12-04	Zo*****	Pricey, but well worth it as this is the only app that can help you get better (via the 'hint' function). I bought it to help me learn backgammon so my boyfriend could have someone to play with. Not only has it made me a better player, but I have rapidly become addicted!

I'm a mediocre player with a bit of experience messing with GNUbg software. Ten minutes with this I can tell you what garbage another app is on highest level 8, no dead cube rule, costs twice as much to remove ads, you still don't get the features here, etc. If you badmouth this app on rolls, you need to read the detailed notes, take the steps, and update/remove your review.

The program choses the dice such that they fit with the statistics but are also convenient. I am a strong player and I can easily get a 40% win against any computer program given enough matches. Not against BGNJ. Don't bother installing, the author has a perverted pleasure of cheating.

Never had a game been so frustrating as to want me to smash my device against the wall as it cheats If you want to learn to play backgammon, this is for you. If you're looking for an honest game, look for something else. It's absolutely true that over time the AI and player will probably roll the same amount of doubles. But not when you need them.
