📖 ስለ መጽሐፈ አርጋኖን፦
«አርጋኖን» የሚለው ቃል መነሻው የግሪክ ቋንቋ ሆኖ ትርጉሙም «ምስጋና» ማለት ሲሆን፤ በመዝሙረ ዳዊት ላይ ከሚገኘው ዐሥር አውታር ካለው የዳዊት የዜማ ዕቃ (በገና) ጋር አብሮ የሚተረጎም፣ በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ታሪክ ውስጥ እጅግ የከበረና ጥልቅ ምስጢርን ያዘለ የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም የምስጋናና የጸሎት መጽሐፍ ነው።
«አርጋኖነ ውዳሴ»፣ «መሰንቆ መዝሙር» እና «ዕንዚራ ስብሐት» በሚሉ ስያሜዎችም የሚታወቀውን ይህንን ሰማያዊ መጽሐፍ የደረሱት በ፲፬ኛው መቶ ክፍለ ዘመን የነበሩት ታላቁ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሊቅ አባ ጊዮርጊስ ዘጋስጫ ሲሆኑ፤ ሊቁ በሐይቅ ደብረ ነጎድጓድ ገዳም በነበራቸው ቆይታ በጽኑ ጸሎትና በእንባ ፈጣሪያቸውን ሲማጸኑ እመቤታችን ከሊቀ መላእክት ቅዱስ ዑራኤል ጋር ተገልጻ የሕይወት ጽዋዕን ካጠጣቻቸውና የሰማይና የምድር ምስጢር ከተገለጠላቸው በኋላ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ምሪት ያበረከቱት ድንቅ መጽሐፍ ነው።
