Peridot is a cute, relaxing breeding/pet-sim with charming visuals and a fair monetization scheme. Fans love breeding new dots and the pet-care vibe. However, it’s held back by frequent bugs and performance issues (including location drift and AR problems), heavy battery drain, and reliability problems on some devices. Players also want more content and activities beyond feeding and breeding, plus easier progression and a non-AR mode. When it runs well, it’s engaging, but stability and content depth are the main gaps.

Recent reviews

Telling multi-year players who have spent upwards of hundreds of dollars "We're sad your Dots have to get deleted, unfortunately we decided this for you already, so take your screenshots while you can" is a massive publicity loss for this company. Especially in an era when video game preservation is beginning to be taken more seriously. Stop killing games absolutely must start with the people who can objectively afford to keep functionality going. Do better.

I've recently started playing this game again, I'm glad I started playing again. The only issue I have is my adults still look like their baby form. Idk if that's just because of the update and they changed it so they didn't grow or what, but I miss seeing them turn into adults. Still very fun to play!
