Life Calendar — your whole life, one week per square.

Enter your birthday and a life expectancy, and every week from your birth to that horizon opens up as a single grid. Weeks you have lived are filled in. This very week glows. The weeks ahead stay as pale, empty squares. At 90 years that is about 4,680 squares — your entire life, in your hand.

■ Why weeks?
Drawn in years, a life is only about 90 squares — too short and too abstract to feel. Drawn in days it is over 30,000, far too many to take in at a glance. A week sits between the two, and it is the unit we actually plan and remember in.

"How many more times will I see my parents?" This app counts them. If you meet four times a year, the number left is smaller than you think. It isn't there to frighten you — it's there to change what next weekend is for.
