Nethra

🔵 Nethra – Smart Screen Distance Monitor for Kids
Protect your child’s eyesight in the digital age.
Children today spend hours on mobile devices — often holding screens too close to their eyes. Over time, this can lead to eye strain, headaches, and long-term vision problems.
Nethra helps parents ensure healthy screen distance with smart, real-time Control.

👁️ Why Screen Distance Matters
When a device is too close:
Eyes work harder
Blinking reduces
Eye strain increases
Risk of myopia (short-sightedness) grows
Nethra gently monitors screen distance and alerts when the device is too close — helping children build healthy digital habits.

Accessibility Service Usage
Nethra uses the Android Accessibility Service to ensure that essential eye-protection features remain active on the child’s device. This service helps detect when critical permissions are being changed or when the app is being uninstalled.
To maintain continuous eye protection, the app may prevent disabling required permissions or uninstalling the app without parent verification. If a child attempts to disable Accessibility access or remove the app, a parent passcode may be required to authorize the action.
This ensures that the screen distance protection feature cannot be bypassed and continues to safeguard children’s eyesight.
The Accessibility Service is used only to support the app’s protective functionality. Nethra does not use this service to read personal messages, collect sensitive data, or monitor user activity. Parents must explicitly enable this permission during the setup process.
