Doesnt work with android 13 on Motorola edge 2022 not able to log in no buttons work in app

Liked the app well enough on my old phone. Updated to a Motorola phone running Android 13 and the app is a complete dud. I can navigate to all the external pages, but the app does not respond to hitting "log in" or any of the in-app functionalities. It is like I'm interacting with a screenshot. Un-and-reinstalled a few times. Tried wifi and mobile data. Nothing. Utterly useless now. Support said "Tough luck, you'll need to use your browser to log in online".
