neerbee connects neighbours who want to help each other — for free, without ads, and without tracking.

Whether you need a hand with a move, want to offer a service to people nearby, or need to coordinate support around an elderly relative, neerbee brings it all together in one simple app.

How it works

Join or create a hive — a private space for your household, building, association, or close circle. Inside your hive, you can:
• Ask for one-off help from people you trust
• Offer a service or share something useful
• Plan a meet-up with a date, a place, and willing participants

You can also post to the neighbourhood: your requests and offers become visible to nearby residents, shown on an OpenStreetMap map or in a proximity-sorted list.

What neerbee is not:
• Not a social network (no likes, no followers, no reputation score)
• Not a marketplace (no payments, no commissions, no paid rankings)
• Not a messenger: coordination happens through structured replies and appointments
• Not a government service or official alert channel (no integrated government crisis alerts)

Sovereign and privacy-first:
neerbee was designed without Big Tech dependencies except one accepted exception: push notifications (FCM). Maps use OpenStreetMap. Fonts are bundled. Your IP is never linked to your GPS location.

Geolocation is optional and entirely client-side — your position never reaches our servers. You declare your municipality, and that's it.

Trust without certification:
No "verified" badge system. Trust is built through the Active Number: a simple SMS check that confirms you're a real neighbour.

Free forever:
neerbee is 100% free for citizens. No subscription, no locked content, no paid tier.

Requirements: Android 5.0+ (API 21). Sign up with email + one-time code (OTP). Minimum age: 16 (GDPR).
