APP BLOCKING ON ANDROID

Focus Timer provides an optional App Blocking feature on Android.

When App Blocking is enabled, Focus Timer uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect when you open an app that you selected for blocking during an active focus session. When a selected app is detected, Focus Timer displays a blocking screen to remind you to return to your focus flight.

AccessibilityService access is used only to support this user-initiated App Blocking feature.

- App Blocking is optional
- You choose which apps to block
- Blocking works only during active focus sessions
- Accessibility access must be enabled manually in Android settings
- You can disable Accessibility access at any time
- Focus Timer can still be used without App Blocking
- Focus Timer does not automatically change system settings
- Focus Timer does not control Airplane Mode, Focus Mode, or Do Not Disturb
- Accessibility information is not used for advertising
