NEC uMobility functions adequately for basic communication on various Android devices, especially Samsung models and NEC platforms. Users appreciate its role in integrated business communications. However, significant issues include low audio volume unless on speakerphone, lack of call transfer due to absent hardware keys, Bluetooth headset ringing notifications missing, calls dropping after two minutes, and difficulty exiting the app due to poor UI design.

Pros

Works well enough for normal communications on some Samsung devices.
Compatible with NEC SV9100 and SV8100 platforms.
Can be used with Bluetooth headsets, albeit with limitations.

When configured properly, the app is functional and satisfactory.

Can hear when using speaker. Volume is very low elsewise. Not fully compatible with other functions and can be awkward. For normal communications it works fine.

If used with a bluetooth headset (tested on Plantronics Explorer 100 on 2 different phones) does not provide ringing signal (both on incoming and outgoing calls) to the headset! (the iPhone app offers this functionality; also Zoiper android app offers the functionality) Tested on Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S2 Plus, registered on NEC SV9100 platform.
