HOW ACCURATE IS IT?
Sound Meter reads the built-in microphone, which is tuned for speech, so extremely quiet and extremely loud sounds can be limited by the hardware itself. Readings are excellent for comparing environments and spotting risky noise, but the app is not a replacement for a calibrated professional sound level meter.
