🎬 Barrier-Free Movie App for the Visually and Hearing Impaired

AudioView is an accessibility-specialized app that automatically plays Audio Description (AD) and Closed Captions (CC) by syncing in real-time using only the audio from movies playing on TV, in theaters, or on OTT. No matter where you play the movie, it recognizes the sound heard through your device's microphone and automatically starts the audio description that perfectly matches the scene you are currently watching.

🔊 Real-time Audio Fingerprint Matching

It analyzes the frequency patterns of the movie's audio to accurately identify the scene. Sync is achieved within seconds, regardless of the start position, pause, rewind, or fast-forward. Privacy is protected as matching is performed solely within the device without transmitting recordings to a server.

🎙️ Automatic Audio Description (AD) Playback

It plays audio description tracks for the visually impaired in synchronization with the movie. Works regardless of the original video source, including TV, theaters, and streaming services.

💬 Closed Captioning (CC) Support

Provides Korean subtitles simultaneously for the hearing impaired.

🌙 Theater Mode / Do Not Disturb

Automatically lowers screen brightness and blocks notifications from other apps while watching movies to help you immerse yourself.

📱 Simple Mode (UI for the Visually Impaired)

Provides a simple interface optimized for large text, high contrast, and voice guidance. It integrates seamlessly with screen readers such as TalkBack.

• Microphone: Used for movie audio recognition (fingerprint matching). Recording data is not transmitted outside the device.
