Navigate to YES is the offline-first companion app for Burning Man — built for the playa where there's no cell signal, no problem.

Everything you need is bundled: 4,500+ events, 1,200+ camps, 260+ art pieces, 430+ mutant vehicles from the official Burning Man API. The compass arrow at the top of every screen always knows where you're trying to go, even when nothing else is connected.

What's inside:

🧭 ALWAYS-ON COMPASS
The big arrow points at your destination. Default is camp Navigate to YES, override with your own camp address or any starred event. The small dial in the corner always points to YES regardless.

✦ SMART EVENT FILTER
Sort by Smart (vibe + proximity + happening-now), Soonest (chronological), or Closest (by distance). Filter by day of the burn, today, "happening now", or specific date. The same event corpus, sliced however you need it.

👥 CREW FINDER
Create a crew with a 6-character code (or any custom word — make it memorable). See your friends on a live map of Black Rock City. Positions are end-to-end encrypted with your crew code and travel over our own relay server when you have signal — and, if you switch on Bluetooth crew finding, phone-to-phone over Bluetooth Low Energy when you're near each other, so you can still find your crew with no signal at all.

🗺 REAL BRC MAP
Actual 2025 Black Rock City geometry pulled from Burning Man's official GIS data. Concentric streets (Atwood through Kilgore), plazas, Center Camp, the Temple, the trash fence pentagon. Your starred camps + crew positions plotted on top.

📱 LOCK-SCREEN WALLPAPER
Your name, camp, and BRC coordinates as a missing-poster-style wallpaper, in one of 10 themes. Save before you leave, the playa will know you.

🔐 NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING
No login. No analytics. No ads. The app reads your location to point the arrow and broadcasts it only to crews you've explicitly joined. Optional contact discovery (find friends who already use the app) sends numbers only as one-way hashes, never raw. That's the whole privacy model. Full policy at https://navigatetoyes.com/privacy.
