Cinema Slate is the professional digital clapperboard and production slate for filmmakers and videographers. Mark takes with a real clap, generate sync timecode, and keep a clean shot log — all from your phone or tablet, at a fraction of the cost of a hardware slate.

Replace a physical clapperboard with a production-ready digital board. Tap the clapper to start, generate or lock to timecode, rate takes, and move on to the next shot. Used on indie sets, commercials, documentaries, music videos, and multi-cam shoots — saving you hours later in the edit when matching, syncing, and logging footage.

PRODUCTION FIELDS
Edit production info on the slate and in project details: scene, shot, take, roll, day, director, DOP, operator, lens, mic, FPS, location, day/night, sound, MOS/sync, and INT/EXT. Industry-style lettered shot codes (A, B, … Z, AA) with quick increment/decrement controls keep you moving between setups.

CLAPPERBOARD
Tap the sticks to mark a shot with an audible clap and screen flash — a clear sync marker for picture and sound. Go hands-free with volume buttons or a shake, so both hands stay on the stick. Shot a bad one? Redo discards that log entry so you can clap again without cluttering history. Happy with it? Next Take saves notes and rating, then advances to the next take.

LOGGING & EXPORT
Every clap logs scene, shot, take, roll, day, and timecode to your shot history. Add notes and a rating, then filter the log by scene or shot — no more wading through hours of footage. Export CSV for editorial, and backup or restore your entire database as JSON. With PRO: unlimited projects, and take numbers beyond take 1 — organize by client, project, and production.

TIMECODE (PRO)
Full timecode display down to the frame (hours:minutes:seconds:frames). Generate Free Run or Time of Day timecode and jam sync your cameras. Output LTC audio for cameras and recorders with LTC in. Lock the slate to external sources — Tentacle Sync, ATEM switchers, BT Cam, or any LTC device — or broadcast timecode over the network so every device on set stays frame-accurate. Play back media files with embedded timecode.

BT CAM INTEGRATION (PRO)
Pair with the BT Cam app over your network: send or receive timecode, and automatically start or stop recording on every camera connected in BT Cam the moment you clap. Discover BT Cam on your LAN, on this device, or by manual host.
