NavIC & GPS Test: GNSS Status

GPS test and GNSS status tool with a dedicated NavIC (IRNSS) dashboard. See which satellites your phone receives, how strong each signal is and where they are in the sky, straight from your phone's own receiver. Works with NavIC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and SBAS, and shows whether your phone supports NavIC.

GPS TEST AND GNSS STATUS • Satellites in view and used in the fix, per constellation, with flags • Satellite signal strength (C/N₀ in dB-Hz), elevation, azimuth and frequency band for every signal • Dual-frequency support: L1/E1/B1 and L5/E5a/B2a signals of the same satellite shown separately • Sky view (sky plot) with constellation filters, satellite details and live signal history • GPS fix status, location accuracy, time to first fix and stale-data warnings

NAVIC (IRNSS): INDIA'S NAVIGATION SATELLITES • Check whether your phone supports NavIC and which NavIC satellites it receives right now • NavIC dashboard with L5, L1 and S-band status and a NavIC-only sky plot • NavIC satellite catalog with PRN assignments from IGS metadata • Experimental NavIC Positioning Lab: raw-measurement checks, satellite-by-satellite eligibility and an independent NavIC-only position when enough satellites and ephemerides are available • Automatic download of public NavIC broadcast ephemeris from IGS data centres for phones that do not provide navigation messages

SIGNAL ANALYSIS • Bar and line charts over 30 s to 15 minutes • Per-signal statistics: current, mean, min–max, standard deviation and gaps • Outage detection and multi-frequency comparison

RECORD AND EXPORT • Record sessions with the screen locked, with a visible notification and Stop button • Optional raw GNSS measurements, NavIC solutions and navigation messages • Export to CSV, JSON or GnssLogger-format text through Android's file picker • Signal-loss and fix alerts with adjustable timing • Session history with automatic retention

MAPS, ORBITS AND MORE • Location Map with a built-in offline map (coastlines, borders, states, major roads, railways and cities), trail and accuracy circle; import MBTiles for street detail • Interactive 3D satellite tracker globe with predicted positions of GPS, NavIC, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS and SBAS satellites • New Satellite Watch for NVS and IRNSS satellites with orbit predictions and ground tracks • Device Capabilities: what your chipset and Android version support • Light and dark themes

GOOD TO KNOW • NavIC reception, dual-frequency signals and raw measurements depend on your phone's chipset, firmware, Android version and sky view. The app cannot add satellite support your hardware does not have. If your phone does not report NavIC, the NavIC screen explains why. • Values are shown exactly as your phone reports them. Orbital predictions are kept separate from live receiver data. • This is a monitoring and diagnostic tool, not turn-by-turn navigation.

PRIVACY Your location and recordings stay on your device unless you export them. The app has no account or sign-in. The internet is used only for optional orbit and ephemeris downloads, which never include your location, and for ads.

All features are free. The app is supported by banner and native ads on selected non-diagnostic screens. There are no full-screen ads, and dashboard, satellite, sky view, signal, NavIC, map and positioning screens show no ads.
