Dewan Hasan Raja Chowdhury was a lover. He took charge of the zamindari when he was only 18 years old. He was born on the 8th day of the month of Poush in 1261 BS in the village of Tegharia in the Lakshanashree region of Sunamganj district and died on the 22nd day of the month of Agrahayan in 1323 BS. Although he was a zamindar by profession, his hobbies were composing songs, traveling, keeping elephants, horses and wolves. He married 5 people. Hasan Raja Saukhin Bahar and Hasan Udas published two books. The Koran is said to have a profound knowledge about the Koran and to have compassion on the wildebeest.
