Nascast

By: Nascast App
Twelve signals. One market reading.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Nascast reads the health of the NASDAQ-100 and tells you what state the market is in today. One word, one score, refreshed after every US close.

WHAT YOU GET, FREE
• The market regime: Bull, Recovery, Correction, Bear, Fear or Panic
• A health score from 0 to 100
• A conviction level, so you know how firm the reading is
• How far the NASDAQ-100 sits below its 52-week high
• How long the current regime has held
• A home-screen widget that updates itself

HOW IT WORKS
Twelve independent signals examine the market from different angles: long and short-term trend, momentum across several timeframes, volatility and its term structure, credit spreads, and flows into government bonds.

Each votes bullish, bearish or neutral. The votes are weighted by how reliable
that signal has proven. The balance becomes a score from 0 to 100 and a regime.

Nothing about the reading is discretionary. There is no analyst adjusting it
and no narrative fitted after the fact. The same calculation runs every day and publishes whatever it produces, including when that contradicts the mood of the market.

TESTED BEFORE IT WAS SHOWN TO ANYONE
The method was replayed across nine years of market history, 2,235 trading
days, with no look-ahead: on each historical day it saw only the data available that morning. It read zero Bull days through the whole 2022 bear market, and its lowest readings came at the March 2020 and April 2025 lows.

NASCAST PRO
• All 12 signals, grouped bullish, neutral and bearish
• The plain-English reason behind every vote
• Five years of history, charted day by day
• Every regime the market has been through since 2021

WHAT THIS IS NOT
Nascast describes conditions. It is not a prediction, and a stressed reading is
not an instruction to sell any more than a calm one is an instruction to buy.
Markets mean-revert: the worst-feeling days are often followed by strong ones.
Conditions and what happens next are two different questions, and Nascast only answers the first.

Nascast is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not
financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in the app is a
recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.
