Reliable close-range Bluetooth connection is essential, and the app requires more refinement to handle reconnection and setting consistency on set.

Provides decent basic level controls for Nanlite Pavotube series lights.

Works well when Bluetooth connection is strong and close.
Significantly improved in recent updates compared to competitor apps.
Very useful for owners of Nanlite products, especially Pavotube series.

Cons

Bluetooth connection issues are frequent; app often fails to detect or connect to lights even though phone Bluetooth sees them.
App requires account creation and login to use remote control features, which some users find problematic and buggy (issues with email verification and sign-up).
Inconsistent behavior during reconnecting to lights causing sudden changes in settings like CCT or intensity.
Limited DMX controls; profile settings cannot be changed via the app.
Grouping lights, especially Pavotube II 6C, often does not work as expected.

Recent reviews

Good app to start with. Provides decent basic level controls for Pavotube T8-7X. However more can be done to take advantage of the hardware. In pixel effect mode, multicolor option allow only 4 colors. However more segments can be allowed as the rainbow effect has a lot a segments. In the multicolor option, each segment color should have the "add on" effect like flashes. Currently add on effect is global. Gradient effect is missing.

Since the update I have had the following issues: 1. When changing scenes some lights just don't turn on, even when you change their channel. You have to remove the fixture completely from the scene. 2. When selecting a fixture or group of fixtures a lot of the time it will default to CCT. 3. If I leave the boundaries of my phone to the transmitters now it acts all screwy when reconnecting. 4. The lights don't respond to me changing their settings at all. And there's more but 500 limit
