Nami Kids is the app dedicated to children and part of the Nami parental control ecosystem. Installed on the child's device and connected to the Nami Parents app, it helps create a safe, balanced, and informed digital experience.

🔐 Use of the Accessibility Service

To provide parental control features, Nami Kids uses the Android Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService API).

This service is required to:

• Detect which applications are currently in use on the device
• Enforce time limits set by the parent in real time
• Block access to prohibited apps
• Prevent use of apps when the available time expires
• Monitor app activity exclusively to ensure the child's digital safety

Nami Kids does not use the Accessibility Service to:

✖ Record audio
✖ Access personal content without parental control purposes
✖ Modify system settings without permission
✖ Bypass Android privacy controls

Use of the Accessibility Service is limited exclusively to parental control features and is activated only with the explicit consent of the parent.

If detected, an alert is sent to the parent via Nami Parents.

Connected to Nami Parents

To function properly, Nami Kids must be connected to the Nami Parents app using a pairing code generated by the parent.
