2025-01-13	Br*****	It works adequately for me to get good cooks. Often it doesn't update unless you kill it and restart. Adding a button to force an update would save some steps. Also a time of last update would help. You can set alarms but they don't ring or anything, so useless. Finally an easy way to say "done, please close damper" would be nice. Half-baked app.

2024-06-17	Ma*****	I love my smobot but the app is pretty bad. The graph is slow to update, requiring a restart to update on command. The temp alarms don't work at all. The temperature adjusting functions work using up/down buttons instead of text input, so going from 250 to 350 requires 100 taps. In general, the usability isn't great. On the positive side, it's never failed to send a command to the smobot unit.

2023-04-10	Mi*****	App works just fine. Logged in to the website to register the Smobot and the app just works. It's great to be able to monitor food and grill temps. Changing set point temp is also super easy.

2020-07-07	Da*****	If I could go lower I would. The entire experience with this Smobot thing has been HORENDOUS!!! From LOUSY directions to an even worse app!!! This whole thing has been a nightmare!!! Some SERIOUS work needs to go into the app. Just having a picture doesn't mean that you have a workable app. Couldn't tell you how the damper itself works. I haven't been able to connect it to the app yet!!!! Maybe some day they'll have a viable product. But until then, I'd put my money elsewhere.
