WRAL management has been conducting a culling of all their tenured, experienced reporters and replacing them with "cheaper", less experienced reporters. As a result, their reporting is much less insightful and informative and seems/sounds geared toward a more "childish" audience. In addition, their weather forecasting is generally wrong; appearing to be more "off-the-cuff" and "throwing darts - like" in it's generality. Also, the graphics and wording posted on-screen are frequently misspelled.
