5K@EASD

The 5K@EASD Virtual Challenge unites over 6,000 participants globally to raise awareness about diabetes prevention through physical activity. Held from September 17-21, 2022, this free event emphasizes healthy living to control and prevent diabetes complications. Supported by Novo Nordisk, the challenge encourages participants to take the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) Pledge, with 100% of proceeds supporting the World Diabetes Foundation Somaliland Project 2022. Novo Nordisk will donate on behalf of the first 10,000 registrants and finishers. While runner shirts are only available on-site at the 58th Annual EASD Congress in Stockholm, everyone is encouraged to participate and support diabetes awareness initiatives worldwide.
