My GCT Hub is an independent study-material sharing app made by a GCT student for students. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or connected to Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore; the Directorate of Technical Education; the Government of Tamil Nadu; or Anna University.

For official college notices, admissions, results and announcements, use only https://gct.ac.in. This app does not publish official notices.

STUDENT-GENERATED CONTENT

Students upload and share their own question papers, unit tests, notes, reference material, syllabus copies, comments and placement information. Content is not provided, verified, approved or endorsed by My GCT Hub, its developer, GCT, or the placement cell. It may be incorrect—always confirm important information with official sources.

The Companies section is written by students. CGPA eligibility, salary/package figures, selection rounds, preparation links and interview feedback are unverified. Company names or logos identify a company described by a student; they do not mean the company sponsors, endorses, or is associated with this app.

FEATURES

• Browse and download student-shared study material.
• Upload PDFs or scan handwritten notes into PDFs; organise them by department, semester and subject.
• Comment on, like, save and search study material by text or voice.
• Explore student-written placement/company information and share interview feedback. You can edit or delete your own feedback.
• GPA/CGPA calculator, timetable image storage, to-do list, money tracker, offline chess and Queens puzzle.
• Optional notifications about material for your department and task reminders. The app works if notifications are declined.

YOU CONTROL YOUR CONTENT

Delete your own posts at any time. Delete your account and all associated data in the app. Report content that breaks the rules.

PRIVACY

Google Sign-In authenticates you; we never see or store your password. We collect your name, email, department and semester to provide relevant material. Google Firebase delivers notifications. We do not sell data and show no advertising.

Your timetable image, to-do list and money entries remain on your device. The app requests no location or photo/media-library permission: files are selected one at a time using Android’s picker.

CONTENT RULES

Do not upload copyrighted books, paid material, pirated PDFs or personal information. In the Companies section, do not name interviewers, disclose NDA-covered information, or link to unsafe/pirated material. Report violations in the app or email ragavan.devp@gmail.com. We review reports and normally remove violating content within 48 hours.
