There are burdens that are difficult to share with those closest to you. Kawan Cerita provides a space for that: a private conversation with a GMIT pastoral counselor who is ready to listen without judgment.

You decide when to start, how much to share, and when to stop.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Share your needs
Choose a category of struggle and write a brief description of what you're facing.

2. A counselor is found for you
Your application is forwarded to the counselor who specializes in that area.

3. Share your story in a private space
The conversation takes place in writing, on your own time. There's no schedule to follow.

4. Take home your notes
The counselor writes a summary and next steps for you to refer to anytime.

SPACE TO BREATHE

In addition to the mentoring, there are daily devotions, a verse of the day, and short breathing exercises that you can access whenever you need to calm down.

WHAT WE CARE FOR

- You may use a pseudonym, and that choice applies to each session separately.
- Conversations are stored encrypted.
- Conversations are automatically deleted after their retention period expires.
- You can terminate a session at any time, without explaining why.

OUR COUNSELORS

Guidance is provided by trained pastoral counselors from the Evangelical Christian Church in Timor. They accompany, listen, and walk with you.
