DonOpalier, the app that connects neighbors to those who need items.

Have something you no longer need? A neighbor might have a use for it. Post a photo of it, someone on your street can ask, you arrange a meeting, and it changes hands. It's completely free: no sales, no delivery, no commission.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Join your community: your building, your street, your village, via QR code, membership code, or search.

2. Post an item you want to give away, or ask for help.

3. Receive requests from your neighbors and choose.

4. Schedule the meeting in the app: date, time, and location.

5. The item changes hands. That's it.

ALSO FOR HELPING HAND
Besides items, the Services tab lets you request occasional, voluntary help from your neighbors: assembling furniture, pet-sitting, running errands, or troubleshooting your computer. Always free, never paid.

YOUR PRIVACY IS NOT THE CURRENCY
• Your email address is never visible to other members.

• No personal address is requested, and no geolocation data is collected.

• You can choose to display only a pseudonym instead of your real name.

• The meeting place is decided between you, never through the app.

DESIGNED FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY
• Up to 3 communities at once: at your place, at your parents' house, at your workplace.

• No messaging: the meeting replaces chat. Less friction, and nothing to moderate.

• An ad remains online for 30 days and can be reposted with a single tap.

• Reporting via a single app, moderated by a local administrator.

FOR MUNICIPALITIES, PROPERTY MANAGERS, AND LANDLORDS
A municipality, property manager, or landlord can sponsor their streets and buildings: logo, welcome message, useful information, official announcements, and a quantified impact report—kilograms diverted from the trash, CO2 avoided, shared use value. Write to us at contact@donopalier.be.

FREE, AND FUNDED WITHOUT RESELLING YOUR DATA
The app is free for residents and will remain so: its value comes from the number of neighbors on the same street who use it. It is funded by advertising (Google AdMob, with your consent), by sponsorship from municipalities and property managers, and by voluntary donations, which do not unlock any advantages, content, or privileges.
