The Compass Chrome extension is a multifunctional navigation tool that combines accurate direction-finding capabilities with practical features for outdoor and everyday use. It shows true and magnetic north by automatically adjusting for declination, offers metal detection and magnet strength readings, and provides sensor accuracy to ensure reliability.

Additional functionalities include a customizable interface with background and text color options, current address display linked to maps for route finding and exploring nearby places, and the ability to save and share locations or input new ones. The extension also features a bubble level to check surface alignment, flashlight and camera views, live weather information, and a Qibla finder for locating the direction to Kaaba. Users can track distances and bearings from their current location to saved events or tasks in the integrated to-do list.

Note that the compass requires a magnetometer-equipped device for full functionality.
