MyResQ is a pioneering mobile app designed to improve survival rates for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) by enabling rapid emergency response. OHCA is a critical global health issue with high mortality due to delayed intervention, especially in Malaysia where EMS response times and bystander CPR rates are low.

Developed by emergency physicians and clinicians, MyResQ activates nearby qualified rescuers via a mobile platform to provide immediate Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation before EMS arrival. By strengthening the 'chain of survival', the app aims to reduce emergency response times and increase neurological intact survival rates. MyResQ is a novel tool that empowers communities to save lives through faster, life-saving interventions during cardiac emergencies.

I registered as a bystander. As a first aider, this app is potentially a lifesaver. For comments made by other users: The OTP was received quickly, in seconds. Gender can be selected by swiping up and down, not by pressing. If your profession is not in the list, choose 'Others', at the bottom.

I can't click on my gender. It only allows to select Male but not female. For occupation, I am retired but there's no selection for this category. I tried to delete my phone number because I have decided not to install this app but it won't allow me to delete my phone number. I hope nothing will happen since my phone number is taken into their system. I strongly don't recommend to install this app.
