APP FOCUS BLOCK — ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

Muslim Daily includes an optional App Focus Block feature designed to help you avoid distracting apps during prayer time. To provide this feature, Muslim Daily uses Android's AccessibilityService API.

Why we use AccessibilityService:

App Focus Block needs to determine when you open an app that you have personally selected to block. Android does not provide a sufficiently reliable public API for this specific foreground-app detection, so Muslim Daily uses AccessibilityService for this purpose.

What AccessibilityService does:

• Detects the currently active app's package identifier to determine whether it matches an app you selected for Focus Block
• When a selected app is opened during an active Focus Block period, displays a gentle prayer reminder encouraging you to return to Muslim Daily

What AccessibilityService does NOT do:

• Does not read or analyze screen content, on-screen text, passwords, or messages
• Does not record keystrokes, taps, gestures, or other user input
• Does not access your messages, photos, contacts, camera, microphone, or personal files
• Does not use Accessibility data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to App Focus Block
• Does not sell, share, or transmit Accessibility data to third parties
• Does not prevent you from disabling or uninstalling any app
• Does not change device settings without your permission

Your control:

App Focus Block is completely optional and is turned off unless you choose to enable it. You select which apps, if any, you want to include in Focus Block. You can review or disable Accessibility access at any time from Muslim Daily's Settings or your device's Accessibility settings.

All other Muslim Daily features — including prayer times, Quran, Hadith, Duas, Qibla, Tasbih, Islamic Calendar, and the 99 Names of Allah — remain available without Accessibility access.
