User Reviews

Users appreciate the Muslim Directory app for its comprehensive and user-friendly features, providing essential Islamic services without ads. However, common complaints include mandatory location access with no manual setting, Adhan notifications not working correctly, inaccurate dates and prayer times in some regions, and removed widget functions. Despite these issues, many find the app helpful for prayer reminders and finding local Islamic facilities.

Pros

Comprehensive app with regularly updated data, useful for finding mosques, halal restaurants, and other Islamic services especially in North America.
User-friendly interface with multiple search options and easy navigation across various categories.
Includes essential features such as prayer time reminders, Qibla compass, and daily duas.
Ad-free experience compared to similar apps like Muslim Pro, which users appreciate.
Accurate and fast performance with a beautiful design according to some users.

Cons

App requires location to be enabled and does not support manual location setting, which frustrates users concerned about privacy and data sharing.
Prayer call notifications (Adhan) often play Fajr Adhan regardless of the prayer time chosen, or sometimes do not sound at all, causing users to resort to other apps.
Issues with incorrect or outdated Hijri dates and discrepancies in prayer times for some regions, notably UAE and Gulf countries.
Missing widget feature for quick access to prayer times on the home screen, which was present in earlier versions but removed in updates.
In some cases, the app fails to launch or alarms do not work on certain phone models, leading to user dissatisfaction.

Love this app. I like it because the company does not sell your information. Now I just need to figure out the Adhdan does not come on when prayer time comes in.
