MuniApp

MuniApp is the official application from the Municipality of Guatemala designed to facilitate resident interactions with municipal services. Users can quickly query their EMETRA referrals, check water consumption balances, validate IUSI slips with QR codes, and access the latest cultural agenda and municipal tweets.

The app features real-time location services showing MiniMunis and Auxiliary Mayors on Google Maps and supports periodic email reports on EMETRA referrals for registered vehicles. Additionally, interactive banners keep users informed of upcoming payments, events such as Christmas activities and races. Though optimized for mobile devices, MuniApp supports tablets with some display variability.

Note: Development is ongoing to resolve Android Marshmallow permission-related issues affecting map locations and agenda photo displays.
