■ What is "City/Town Coloring Journey"?

It's a travel log app where you color in a map of cities, towns, and villages across Japan as you travel.

By importing your Google Maps timeline (location history), you can record all the cities and towns you've visited in the past.

You can display roadside stations (Michi-no-Eki) across Japan on the map, and you can check and add to your travel records even in airplane mode without an internet connection.

You can experience the sense of accomplishment as the places you've visited gradually fill in with color, and the fun of aiming to conquer the entire country.

■ Main Features

【Visualize your journey on a map】
Visited cities, towns, and villages are highlighted in blue, allowing you to see your travel route at a glance on the map.

Zooming in displays detailed boundaries of cities, towns, and villages, allowing you to see how far you've traveled.

【Manual recording】
Simply tap a city, town, or village on the map to register it as visited.

You can easily record your travels as if you were stamping a book during your trip.

[Import Google Maps Timeline]
Importing your Google Maps Timeline (location history) allows you to register all the cities and towns you've visited in the past.
We provide detailed instructions in "Easy Import Mode" for those who are not comfortable with smartphone operation.

[Display Roadside Stations Nationwide on Maps]
You can display the locations of roadside stations nationwide on the city/town map.
This can be used as a landmark to find your next stop while driving or visiting roadside stations.

[Recording Even in Airplane Mode]
Maps and visit records are saved on your device, so you can check and add to them even in airplane mode.
Enjoy recording your travels while traveling by plane or in places with unstable communication.
Features that use communication, such as cloud synchronization and rankings, can be used after returning to the internet.

[Statistics and Achievement Badges]
View a list of nationwide and prefecture-specific achievement rates.
You can earn a "Conquer Badge" when you visit all prefectures.
A special animation will celebrate when you achieve nationwide conquest!

[Ranking]
A ranking feature that allows you to compete with users nationwide based on visit count.
You can participate in three types of rankings: overall, by prefecture, and monthly (participation can be toggled in settings).

■ Data Management & Backup

・Guest Mode: Can be used without logging in (data is saved on your device)

・Google Login: Visit records are automatically backed up to the cloud. Peace of mind even after changing devices.

・Offline Use: You can view and add maps and visit records on your device even in airplane mode.

■ Premium Plan (Ad Removal)

By subscribing to the premium plan for ¥240 per month, all ads within the app will be hidden.

■ Privacy

Location information is used to display your current location on the map if you allow it.
You can still use manual registration and timeline import even without allowing location information.
We do not sell personal data to third parties or collect it without a specific purpose.

■ Data Used

• Map Data: Processed and used from National Land Numerical Information (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism)
• Map Tiles: MapLibre GL + OpenStreetMap-derived style
