The Multimatic Damper Portal is a mobile app that enables users to wirelessly connect and fine tune their Multimatic Spool Valve Dampers, optimising performance to changes in terrain and conditions.

The first application of this portal is for the Multimatic Positional Selective (and/or ePSD) Damper launched on the Bronco DR.

Multimatic’s patented Spool Valve damping technology can also be found on some of the most exciting performance street and off-road vehicles including the new Ferrari Purosangue, Mercedes-AMG ONE and Chevrolet Silverado ZR2.

The new Multimatic Positional Selective (and/or ePSD) dampers are specifically engineered and developed to handle the torturous demands of high-speed desert endurance racing. Introduced on the new Bronco DR racing truck, these dampers feature:

• 5 separate spool valves (3 for bump and 2 for rebound) providing precise damping response at different positions in each stroke of the damper
• Unique and efficient cooling configuration to maintain consistent performance
• First-of-its-kind user-controlled damping zones for each damper through a mobile device’s wireless interface

A range of Force-Velocity (FV) damping curves with customisable transition positions can be selected by the user on the fly through this app to optimise vehicle performance for changing terrain conditions and vehicle set-ups. Multiple factory developed settings and user tuned pre-sets are also available.
