Shuraim whose full name is Saud bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al Shuraim, is one of the famous imams and reciters of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Saud Al Shuraim was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1966. From a young age he showed a deep interest in Islam. Shuraim is widely known for his melodious, calm, and heartfelt recitation of the Quran.

Shuraim began memorizing the Quran at an early age at Quran memorization schools in Riyadh. Known as an intelligent and diligent child, Saud Al Shuraim showed an exceptional talent in reciting the holy verses with perfect tajweed.
