Weryat

Weryat answers one question for families: where is everyone right now?

Open the app and the map shows your whole circle at once. Tap a person to see where they are, how sure the phone is, when it last reported, and how much battery they have left.

WHAT IT DOES
• Live family map. Everyone in your circle on one map, framed automatically when you open it. Tap the crosshair to follow yourself.
• Arrivals and departures. Save the places that matter - Home, school, Grandma's - and get a notification when someone gets there or leaves.
• Trip history. Every drive is recorded with its start, destination, distance and time. The people who rode together are shown together.
• Ask for an update. If a phone has gone quiet, one tap asks it to check in.
• Honest status. Weryat says when a location is fresh, approximate, or old. It never guesses.
• Circles. Your family, the grandparents, a carpool - each is its own circle, and you choose which you are looking at.
• Works in the background. Once set up, your family sees you without you opening anything, and the app tells you plainly what Android needs to make that work on your phone.

PRIVACY, IN PLAIN WORDS
• Your location is shown only to the members of your circle. It is never made public.
• It is never sold, and never used for advertising. There are no ads in Weryat.
• You can stop sharing at any time in Settings.
• Location history is deleted automatically on your circle's schedule.

Weryat is built by a family, for families, and is free during the beta.
