FANG is an app for Iceland breeding centres and farmers. The program keeps track of today's inseminations and pregnancy checks for technicians, making it easy for farmers to order inseminations or pregnancy checks conveniently and simply at any time of the day.

Features of the app are for example:

Farmers can:

• Order inseminations
• Order pregnancy checks
• Browse the farm's herd list (cows and heifers)
• Request a specific sire
• Send remarks to the technician with the order
• Receive information about the estimated arrival time of the technician

Technicians can:

• Work with orders and move them to today's work list
• Transfer orders to other technicians
• Register all inseminations and pregnancy checks
• Calculate distances and the best route for each day
• See driving distances and estimated time of arrival at each farm
• Send messages to farmers or call them
• Add or delete orders
• See semen inventory
• Browse herd lists at each farm
• See older inseminations/pregnancy checks of the relevant animal

In addition, through a database connection, each technician's operating area can be changed easily.
