Sheikh Nasreddin Tobar (June 7, 1920 - November 16, 1986)
Quran reader and Egyptian religious singer.
He memorized the Noble Qur’an and spread his fame in the cities and villages of Dakahlia Governorate, and his friends advised him to take the radio test and actually took the radio exams, but he failed five times in succession, until he became bored, but the insistence of those around him - to convince them of his voice - pushed him to enter the tests for the sounds of reading the Qur’an And religious chanting for the sixth time, and it was that he succeeded in the seventh.
Sheikh Nasreddin Tobar offered nearly two hundred prayers.
He was chosen as a supervisor and leader of the religious chanting group of the Academy of Arts in Egypt in 1980
He participated in Egypt's celebration of Art and Culture Day and sang in the Albert Hall in London at the ceremony of the International Islamic Conference.
He traveled to many Arab and foreign countries, and the German press wrote about him: (The voice of Sheikh Nasruddin Tobar strikes the strings of hearts).
He was appointed a reciter of the Noble Qur’an and a chanter of Tawasheh at the Al-Khazindara Mosque in Shubrā.
