Space Shooter: Jetpack Alien

An endless arcade space shooter where distance is your score and the galaxy never stops fighting back. Strap on a jetpack, grab a laser rifle, and see how far into deep space you get.

You pilot a jetpack-wearing alien through an asteroid field that speeds up every 120 metres. Hold to fire, tap to fly, and grab fuel canisters before your boost runs dry. There is no level cap and no finish line — it just keeps getting harder until your run ends.

Your Gun Overheats
This is the decision that shapes every run. Holding the trigger fills a heat gauge, and about eight-tenths of a second of sustained fire overheats it — three full seconds locked out, no weapon, black smoke, asteroids still coming. Heat bleeds off slowly when you stop, so the good players fire in short bursts and save the long spray for when they genuinely need it.

Fuel Is A Timer
Boosting burns fuel, and the burn rate climbs as you get further out. Floating canisters top you up, but they spawn less often the deeper you go. Run dry and you keep falling and wrapping, still alive — you just cannot control where you end up, which is usually into something.

Turbo Every 500 Metres
Full tank, cool gun, three seconds of pure momentum. It resets the overheat lock, so a well-timed turbo turns a losing position into a clean stretch. It does not make you invincible, and plenty of runs end during one.

Screen Wrap
Fly off the top and you come back in from the bottom. Velocity is zeroed on the way through, so it is a genuine escape route from a tight spot rather than a momentum trick — but you arrive somewhere you cannot see yet.

Global Leaderboard
Pick a nickname and every run goes up against everyone else playing, tracked weekly, monthly and all-time. Skip the nickname and the game is identical, just without a rank.
