Recycle Friends

Recycle Friends is a calm, open-ended play world made for children ages 4-6. There's no scoreboard, no timer, and no way to lose - just a soft, colorful place to wander, tidy up, and make friends. And woven quietly through all that play is a surprising amount of gentle early learning.

LEARNING HIDDEN INSIDE THE FUN
Tap almost anything in the world and Recycle Friends says its name out loud while a friendly speech bubble shows the printed word - so your child hears the sound and sees the letters at the very same moment. With hundreds of spoken words covering animals, plants, foods, vehicles and everyday objects, the whole alphabet in both capital and small letters, the numbers zero all the way to one hundred, and simple shapes, a child's natural curiosity quietly turns into vocabulary.

A WHOLE LITTLE SCHOOL
Visit the School and step into five classrooms holding over twenty bite-size activities:
- Reading - letter hunts, phonics, word building, matching capital and small letters, sounding words out, and clapping syllables.
- Math - counting, numbers up to 100, adding, taking away, patterns, a number line and a play calculator.
- Science - sorting living from non-living, plants from animals, and matching creatures to the homes they live in.
- Art - free drawing, color-in pages, mixing and matching colors, dot-to-dot, decorating, shape sorting and putting things in size order.
- Feelings - a cozy belly-breathing exercise to help little ones slow down and settle.
Drawing and coloring are completely open-ended - no timer, no rounds, paint for as long as you like.

CARE FOR A WHOLE WORLD
Explore twelve painted worlds - meadow, forest, pond, beach, ocean, town and more - plus the School. Litter turns friends sad and grimy, so pop each piece into the right recycle bin (metal, glass, paper, plastic or organic) and watch it transform into a happy recycled friend. Collect the friends who need help and bring them to the Care Center, where four gentle caring games - medicine, bandages, a warm wash and a healthy snack - nurse them back to health. Grow super-food on the farm to help them heal, then build a cozy Sanctuary home for everyone you have rescued.

DISCOVER AND COLLECT
Every friend you meet is remembered in your Sticker Book - a growing album of hundreds of characters to find and name, and a lovely picture reference to draw from. Jump between worlds in a tap from the Places room. There are no streaks to keep and nothing is lost if you skip a day - it's simply there whenever you come back.
