2026-07-21	Ma*****	WARNING: Screensave your climbs because they can DISAPPEAR when MP pushes updates. Mountain Project (owned by REI) operates under strict guidelines regarding access. When a land manager (like Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, local municipalities, or private landowners) requests that an area be removed due to zero-tolerance policies, sensitive wildlife habitats, or liability concerns, admins or regional admins soft-delete or scrub the area fm the database. PS use Wayback Machine to get it back!

2026-07-04	Ke*****	Update July 2026: They have fixed a lot of issues with ticks and adding / viewing photos & videos in the forum. Thank you! Still some missing features: - NO SEARCH function for the forums within app. Have to use Google custom search. - Can't add comments to routes via app. - Can't add photos to routes via app. - Still some delay for new routes/areas when added to MP website before they are pushed to Android app, but it has improved.

2026-06-15	Pa*****	latest version annoyingly prompts to update downloaded route beta every day or two. either let me dismiss this notification or update automatically! super annoying when I'm out climbing and this is popping up when I have almost no cell signal to do the updates.
