MotoSky: Motorcycle Weather

Riding a motorcycle is not driving a car. Rain, wind, wet tarmac and dropping visibility mean far more to you than a weather forecast does. That is what MotoSky is for: it reads the forecast through a rider's eyes and gives you a single number.

RIDE SCORE
A score from 0 to 100. Temperature, feels-like, wind and gusts, rain probability, visibility and humidity are weighed together. A sunny day at 40°C with hard crosswinds can score lower than an overcast but calm one. Because this is not about weather, it is about riding.

RIDE ALARM
Set the hour you plan to ride. At that time your phone gets the weather report and ride score for that moment. No more waking up and checking the window.

BAD WEATHER ALERTS
You get warned before the weather turns. Something like "dry now, but rain expected around 16:00, get ready before you leave." It does not spam you, it only speaks up when a change will actually affect your ride.

WEEKLY RIDING CALENDAR
The ride score for the next 7 days on one screen. Which day to ride this week, which day to stay in. The first two days are calculated hour by hour; later days are marked as estimates.

ROUTE ANALYSIS
Enter your destination and the whole route is analysed segment by segment. What the weather does at which kilometre, which district you ride into rain, where the wind picks up.

BEST DEPARTURE TIME
The same route at a different hour is a different ride. MotoSky scans the hours ahead and tells you when to leave: "leave at 14:00 and you miss the rain over Gerede." It also tells you why.

RIDE TRACKING
Record your ride: distance, duration, average and maximum speed, and your route on a real map. Put your phone away — it keeps recording with the screen off. GPS noise is filtered out, so standing still never adds fake kilometres.

SHARE WITH YOUR OWN PHOTO
Share your ride with the route drawn over a photo you took. Distance, duration, speed and that day's ride score sit on the card. The photo stays on your device and never reaches our servers.

GEAR RECOMMENDATIONS
It tells you what to wear for the conditions. Thermal layer or not, rain gear, clear visor, waterproof gloves.

STATS AND BADGES
Your total distance, ride count and fastest ride. 38 badges, and a global leaderboard if you choose to join. Joining the leaderboard is entirely your call.

UNITS YOUR WAY
Celsius or Fahrenheit, km/h or mph, kilometres or miles. Use it with your own units wherever you ride.

WHAT IS FREE
Ride score and full weather detail for your location, bad weather alerts, 1 ride alarm, 2 new route analyses per day, your last 5 rides, unlimited ride tracking and photo sharing.

WHAT PREMIUM UNLOCKS
Weekly riding calendar, best departure time on a route, unlimited ride alarms, unlimited route analysis, place names and arrival times on route segments, your full ride history, 48-hour forecast timeline, earlier bad-weather warnings, exclusive avatar frames.

PRIVACY
Your location is used only to calculate weather. On the leaderboard other riders see your nickname and totals, never your location. We do not sell your data. You can delete your account from inside the app.

IMPORTANT
MotoSky is an informational tool. The score it shows is a summary, not advice. Whether to ride, how fast and how you ride is entirely your decision. A green score does not mean the road is safe. Road conditions, traffic and your own riding ability are things the app cannot know.
