Signs of Life

This a life alert like app that monitors phone movement for a user-specified amount of time. If no movement is detected after the specified amount of time the app sends a text alert to 1 or 2 user-set phone numbers asking them to check on you.

You can set a sleep schedule during which movement is not monitored. There is an emergency button that will send the text alerts after holding it for 2 seconds.

Monitoring can be turned on and off as needed. The app will play the alert sound for 30 seconds before sending non-emergency alerts so you can stop the sending of the alert by picking up the phone if needed.

The app runs in the background all the time and will re-load and run automatically if the phone is re-booted. Battery use is minimal. It supports light and dark modes.

This is great for people who live alone and want friends and family to know you are OK without having to text or call on a regular basis. You can tell your friends and family that you have this app and it will automatically notify them if something happens to you and you can't make a phone call or send a text.
