Danson Kiundi Yambu and Serah Mbuve Kiundi are the parents of Richard Kioko Kiundi, Founding Trustee of the Danson and Serah Kiundi Foundation. They were instrumental in the spread of education, religion(AIM) and modern medicine in the Mbitini area of the then Masaku colonial district, now known as Nzaûî SubCounty of Makueni County. The Foundation is in their honour.
