Tide Times: Tide Chart & Table

Heading out to fish, surf or walk the flats? Tide Times puts the high and low tide times for your coast, the sea temperature and swell, and solunar fishing times on three tabs: Today, Table and Coast.

WHO USES IT
Shore and boat anglers, surfers, kayakers and paddleboarders, clam diggers, tide-poolers, beach walkers, photographers waiting for low-tide light, and families planning a day at the beach.

TABLE TAB: THE WEEK AHEAD
• 7-Day Tide Table: every high and low tide, grouped by day, with time and height
• 7-day chart that shades day and night and draws a wave height track under the tide line
• Daylight low-tide ranking: for each day, the lowest low tide that falls between 30 minutes after sunrise and 30 minutes before sunset, ranked so you can pick a day for tide-pooling, clamming or walking the flats. Tap a day to jump to it
• Tap "Remind me" on any high or low to pin a reminder before it, up to 8 pins at once

TODAY TAB: RIGHT NOW
• Tide height now, labeled "above mean sea level", with a rising, falling or slack water trend
• Today's tide curve with a NOW marker
• Countdown to the next high and the next low, with time and height
• Sea now card: water temperature, wave height, wave period and swell
• Solunar fishing times: two major periods of about 2 hours (moon overhead and moon underfoot) and minor periods of about 1 hour around moonrise and moonset. The active or next period is highlighted
• Beachcombing window: a low tide in the next 12 hours that uncovers the shore
• Sunrise and sunset
• Share a tide report as text with friends or your crew

COAST TAB: PLACES, ALERTS AND UNITS
• Search a coast or harbor by name and keep up to 10 saved spots, or use your current location
• Tide alerts before high tide and before low tide, with a lead time of 30, 60 or 120 minutes
• Spring / neap indicator from the moon phase, plus today's tide range and tide coefficient
• Meters or feet; water temperature switches between °C and °F to match

FAQ
Why does my town show no tide data?
The marine model has no sea-level values for some points, usually inland ones. The app then offers the nearest port in its list of 934 ports that has tide data, shows how far away it is, and switches to it with one tap.

Where does the data come from?
Tides, waves and water temperature are forecasts from the Open-Meteo marine model for the position you pick, up to 7 days ahead. They are estimates above mean sea level, not a reading from a harbor gauge, and exact times can differ in coves and estuaries. Use them for planning, not for navigation.

What happens without a connection?
Live tides need an internet connection. Without one, the app shows a sample curve that is clearly marked as a sample, not real tides.

What are solunar times?
Traditional angling guidance based on where the moon is: overhead, underfoot, rising or setting. They suggest when fish may be more active; they are not a promise of bites.
