My Window of Light is a Christian, Catholic mobile application that enables daily reading and reflection on the Word of God. It is designed in a simple way and adapted to the user to be pleasant and useful at the moment when he needs it most.

✨ WHAT DOES THE MPS APPLICATION BRING US?

📖 Light of the Day – A Bible quote that you receive every day and can be your guiding thought for that day. You will receive a notification/reminder every morning that it has arrived.

🪟 Window of Light – A symbolic and interactive drawing of the Word of God, where the application offers about 1000 Bible quotes that we draw randomly.

❤️ A special place is occupied by the quote “I ❤️ Jesus”, which is rare and brings us joy and satisfaction if we manage to draw it!

🛤 Paths of Light – All biblical texts are categorized into 20 different categories that we call Paths of Light. We can choose which path to take through the vastness of God's Word, and we can choose one of four pre-selected theme packages prepared by MPS.

❤️ Favorite Quotes – We can save every quote that is extracted in the application to our favorite quotes for later reading and consideration.

🕯 Reflections – A favorite quote is associated with reflections in the form of notes with a rich text editor that has the ability to enter text by voice, so you won't have to type.

🕊 Quote History – The application remembers the history of extracted quotes so that we can easily go back up to 200 quotes to remember something we previously extracted.

The application uses Bible texts from the Jerusalem Bible, translated into Croatian by the publisher Kršćanska sadašnjost.

✨ HOW WAS THE MPS APPLICATION COME ABOUT?

More than 20 years ago, an unknown author listed 991 quotes from the Bible, let's say the most powerful parts that touch the heart and soul. These quotes consisted of the name of the book, chapter and verse from the Bible. They represented a great wealth and discovery in the world of lovers of the Word of God. People would write these quotes on small pieces of paper in various colors that would usually be laminated to make them long-lasting.

Our grandmother received these quotes as a gift, and when we would gather as a family, we would randomly pull out the Word of God through these quotes, which were a real discovery and always delighted us. The quotes would serve as immediate help in various life problems, trials, and dilemmas, when we needed advice from God, and by pulling out the quotes we would want to hear: "God, what are you telling us now? Where are you directing us, leading us?..."

More than 20 years have passed and these same quotes are still relevant in our families and wider and narrower religious communities.

Since we are not always able to have the Bible with us and the Word of God available in our pocket, the author wanted to make his small contribution to the Church and the world so that this same idea, conceived on pieces of paper, could be transferred to a form that today's modern man uses every day and has available in his pocket - and that is in the form of a mobile application.
