LinkSieve reads QR codes and barcodes from your camera or a photo you choose. It shows the decoded contents first. Websites open only after you choose to open them and confirm the destination.

UNDERSTAND THE ADDRESS
See a website's protocol, actual host, path, query and fragment. Review notices for unencrypted HTTP, embedded credentials and internationalized hostnames. LinkSieve does not rate website safety, follow redirects or verify product authenticity.

PREVIEW A CLEANER LINK
Review removal of known tracking parameters such as utm_source, gclid and fbclid. Copy or open the cleaned address yourself. Other parameters retain their original encoding. Cleaning is disabled for recognized signed or token-bearing links. Removing known parameters does not eliminate all tracking.

READ MORE THAN LINKS
Inspect text, contact cards, Wi-Fi details and product identifiers. App commands remain text. Codes never automatically launch an app, connect to Wi-Fi or add a contact. Private Wi-Fi contents are hidden until you reveal them.

MAKE YOUR OWN QR CODES
Create text, link, contact and Wi-Fi codes. Preview the result, inspect its contents, export a 1024-pixel PNG or share it through Android. QR images have no app watermark. Scan-test a code before printing it.

KEEP ONLY WHAT YOU CHOOSE
Save useful codes with editable labels and search your library. Automatic history is off by default. Back up and restore your saved codes using validated, versioned files. Backups are unencrypted and may contain passwords or contact details. A 5 MB archive limit keeps imports bounded; codes that would exceed backup capacity are not added.

MADE FOR YOUR DEVICE
Light, dark and system appearance. Respects text size and accessibility settings. Camera permission is requested when you choose Scan. Photo and file pickers grant access only to items you select. No broad storage or contacts permission.

Free to use. No ads, no purchases, no subscription, no account. Works fully offline.

LinkSieve has no internet permission. Opening a link, visiting support or sharing a file uses the external app you choose. Android cloud backup and device transfer of app data are disabled; export a backup before changing phones or uninstalling.
