Cuelift: Teleprompter Video

Rehearse once, and the prompter follows your own pace.

Cuelift is a video teleprompter with a rehearsal mode. Read your script once, moving the text by hand as you speak; Cuelift records how fast you read and scrolls at that pace when the camera rolls, a little slower or faster if you ask. The words sit in a reading window right under the lens, so your eyes stay close to the camera.

Rehearse
• Open a script, tap Rehearse and read it in your own rhythm
• Record with the prompter moving at the pace you rehearsed, or nudge the tempo up or down
• Every script shows its reading speed in words per minute; once you have rehearsed it, a pace line on the script screen shows how you read
• Rehearsing is free

Read under the lens
• A reading window directly under the camera lens, in portrait or landscape; choose its position
• Tap to pause or resume, drag to jump back or ahead
• A 3-2-1 countdown, very large text, adjustable line height and side margins, left or center alignment
• White on black or black on white, a progress bar and the time remaining; the screen stays awake
• Mirror the text horizontally or vertically, for example for a teleprompter glass rig, free

Record
• Front or back camera, video and audio, up to 1080p
• Free takes run up to 3 minutes, with no watermark
• Every take lands in your Takes list and in your gallery: play, share, save or delete
• Camera or microphone permission denied, a phone call, low storage? Cuelift tells you what is going on, and a take you stop is saved. If storage runs low while you record, Cuelift stops and keeps the take.

Your scripts
• Create, edit, rename, duplicate, search and delete scripts; paste text or import a .txt file
• Scripts of up to 60,000 characters, kept on your device and available offline

Cuelift Pro (optional)
Pro adds unlimited take length, 4K recording on supported devices, .docx and public Google Docs import, and custom colors, fonts and themes for the prompter. Choose monthly, yearly (with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. There is no paywall when you first open the app: Pro is shown once after your first saved take, and after that only when you tap a Pro feature, reach the 3-minute limit or look for it in Settings. If you start the yearly trial and allow notifications, Cuelift reminds you two days before it ends.

Who it is for
Anyone who reads from a script and still wants to look at the camera: creators and vloggers, presenters, teachers, speakers, and actors filming self-tape auditions.

On your device
Your scripts and takes stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Usage statistics and crash reports help us fix bugs and improve the app. They are not linked to your name or an account, and each has its own switch in Settings. Where the law asks for permission, each stays off until you allow it.

Subscription details
Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and vary by region. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions); cancel a free trial before it ends and you will not be charged. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
