App Lock: Fingerprint & Vault

App Lock helps you protect private apps with PIN, pattern or fingerprint authentication while keeping personal photos and videos inside a secure private vault. Use it for messaging, social, gallery, email, finance and other apps that you do not want others opening without permission.

PRIVATE PHOTO & VIDEO VAULT
Move selected photos and videos into an encrypted private vault. App Lock uses Android’s system photo picker, so you choose exactly which media to import. Your private vault stays inside the app’s protected storage and can be opened only after authentication. Organize private media, browse photos and videos, and export an item when you intentionally choose to restore it.

SMART RE-LOCK
Decide when protected apps should lock again. Choose immediate re-lock, when you leave the app, when the screen turns off, or a delay such as 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. App Lock remembers temporary unlock sessions only in memory and clears them when required by your selected security mode.

INTRUDER ALERTS
Optional intruder protection can record failed PIN or pattern attempts. If you enable the selfie option and grant camera access, App Lock can save a private intruder photo after your selected number of failed attempts. Intruder records remain private inside App Lock and are not uploaded by the feature.

NEW APP GUARD
App Lock can notify you when a newly installed app appears so you can decide whether to protect it. This is useful when you regularly install messaging, shopping, social, banking or utility apps and do not want to forget to add them to your protected list.

PROTECTION ENGINE
To detect when a protected app opens, App Lock uses Android Accessibility access. The protection engine is designed to react to foreground app changes; it does not need to read screen text, messages or typed content, and it does not perform gestures. The app shows a clear disclosure and step-by-step instructions before asking you to enable this access.

PERSONALIZE YOUR APP LOCK
Choose light, dark or system theme, select an accent color, adjust lock-screen style, enable or disable tap vibration, hide the pattern trail and customize other security preferences.

OWNER RECOVERY
If you forget the App Lock PIN or pattern, use the owner recovery option. Android can verify the phone’s existing device screen lock before allowing you to create a new App Lock credential. This helps the legitimate device owner regain access without storing a recovery password in the cloud.
