Mobile Number Tracker & Locator is a reliable Chrome extension designed to provide comprehensive details on any Indian mobile number. Users can search mobile numbers to retrieve information such as the service provider, GSM or CDMA network type, and the caller's state. This extension also features GPS mapping to locate callers, displaying their name, state, carrier SIM, and their distance from the user's current location through an intuitive arrow display.
With privacy in mind, the app only accesses necessary permissions like approximate location for GPS tracking and SD card access for map functionalities. It respects user privacy by not storing or transmitting personal data beyond the device. Mobile Number Tracker & Locator offers an efficient way to understand caller identity and location for enhanced communication and security.
User feedback is largely negative. The majority report the app does not work as advertised, returning random or identical locations and sometimes failing altogether. A common accusation is that the app is fake or a scam, with concerns about privacy due to multiple permission requests and data collection. Several reviews note the app's limited geographic coverage, not supporting some countries or regions. A smaller portion of reviewers express positive sentiment, calling the app good or expressing liking it, noting its intended tracking function. Overall, reliability and privacy concerns dominate the reviews.
