Grumpy Frog: Classical Rhythm

Forty years. Four thousand concerts. And every single night the very same encore.

Ludwig van Croakhoven, the greatest composer the river has ever known, is sick of music. Halfway through Für Elise he stops playing, walks off the stage and heads down the river in search of silence. There is just one problem: every lily pad he lands on plays a note.

Grumpy Frog is a rhythm game set to classical music. Hop the old maestro from pad to pad on the beat, steer him down the river and let the melody follow his every leap.

HOW TO PLAY
• Hold and slide to steer the frog left and right
• Land on every lily pad right on the beat: PERFECT, GREAT or GOOD
• Ride the wooden logs through the long notes and the quiet bars
• Build combos, earn up to three gold stars per piece and collect flies
• Miss a pad and it's a splash, so listen closely and stay in time

36 CLASSICAL MASTERPIECES
Ode to Joy, Für Elise, Air on the G String, Canon in D, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Rondo alla Turca, In the Hall of the Mountain King, Hallelujah, The Entertainer, the Minute Waltz, Symphony No. 5 and many more. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Handel, Schubert, Brahms, Verdi, Joplin and Strauss, each piece arranged so that every hop falls on a note.

A STORY TOLD IN CHAPTERS
Follow Ludwig past the old mill, under the town bridge, through the misty marsh and into the storm, all the way to the silent sea. Every chapter is illustrated and voiced: a narrator tells the tale and the frog grumbles his own lines. Will a composer who hates music finally find his silence?

A RIVER THAT FIGHTS BACK
• Grey herons wait in the shallows and strike at the pads
• Pikes circle under the surface and leap out of the water
• Thorny brambles and grass snakes block the lily pads
• The pieces get faster and trickier as you travel downstream

A RHYTHM GAME FOR GROWN-UPS
Grumpy Frog looks like a handmade stop-motion film: a puppet frog in a tailcoat, felt lily pads and a misty river at dusk. It is calm to look at and hard to master, made for players who love classical music and want a real rhythm challenge.

• 36 classical pieces from easy to fiendish
• Illustrated, fully voiced story chapters
• Simple one-finger controls
• Play anywhere, no internet needed to play
